Welocalize is hiring a Lead Program Manager for Generative AI Data Operations based in Gurgaon, India. Welocalize operates Welo Data, a global multilingual data and evaluation partner supporting foundation labs and enterprises in deploying reliable GenAI systems across various languages and contexts. In this full-time role, you will lead large-scale AI training data programs, oversee delivery strategy, and manage cross-functional teams including project managers and coordinators. A normal day involves defining program roadmaps, managing budgets and margins, collaborating with the Lead Quality Manager to ensure high data accuracy, and serving as the primary executive contact for client governance meetings. You will also optimize high-volume operations, handle capacity planning, and drive process improvements using data dashboards and standard operating procedures.

Responsibilities

• Define program goals, milestones, and operating models across multiple projects.
• Manage a delivery team of project managers and coordinators with clear capacity planning.
• Act as the primary day-to-day executive contact for client relationships and governance reviews.
• Co-own quality outcomes, guidelines, audits, and corrective actions with the Lead Quality Manager.
• Plan rater capacity and optimize shifts, tooling, and automation for high-volume targets.
• Build and manage program budgets, margins, and change orders.
• Monitor program risks and lead root-cause analyses and remediation processes.
• Standardize standard operating procedures, templates, and reporting dashboards.

Requirements

• 5 to 8 years of experience leading large delivery in AI data, content review, or labeling domains.
• Proven experience in high-volume environments with vendor management and capacity planning.
• Demonstrated track record of managing client relationships and running governance cadences.
• Proficiency in spreadsheets, project management task boards, and BI dashboards.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with senior client stakeholders and internal leaders.
• Practical experience using standard operating procedures, quality assurance gates, and acceptance criteria.
• Ability to work with global, distributed teams using advanced English proficiency.
