As a Platform Infrastructure Engineer based in Bengaluru, you will lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of next-generation infrastructure and developer platforms. You will work extensively with modern technologies like Kubernetes, Pulumi, Istio, and AWS within a microservices architecture. A normal day in this role involves automating and refining cloud resources to ensure smooth, secure, and cost-effective operations, collaborating with development teams to troubleshoot issues and improve productivity, and participating in strategic decisions to enhance system performance, CI/CD pipelines, and IoT integrations. Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain infrastructure-as-code solutions using Pulumi to automate cloud resource provisioning.
- Design and build CI/CD pipelines for microservices while embedding testing, observability, and security best practices.
- Lead the deployment and maintenance of Istio for traffic management, security, and observability.
- Architect and manage AWS services including EC2, EKS, Lambda, S3, and IoT Core.
- Own the developer experience by providing internal tools, environments, and frameworks.
- Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to meet platform reliability standards.
Requirements
- 8+ years of overall experience demonstrating knowledge in infrastructure engineering.
- Deep production experience in architecture, scaling, and operating Kubernetes clusters.
- Hands-on expertise in Pulumi or similar Infrastructure as Code tools.
- Strong knowledge of core AWS services and cloud best practices.
- Proven track record in deploying and managing Istio or similar service mesh solutions.
- Proficiency in Python for tooling and IAC development use cases.

- Familiarity with IoT technologies, protocols, and data ingestion strategies.
- Experience with build tools, code quality metrics, and package management.
