AirTrunk, a prominent hyperscale data centre company in the Asia Pacific and Middle East region backed by investors like Blackstone, is looking for a Procurement Manager OSE to join its team at the Mumbai headquarters. In this role, you will report to the Associate Director of Procurement and collaborate with regional leadership and internal teams. A normal day involves overseeing end-to-end procurement activities such as RFx processes, managing supplier relationships, conducting market research, developing tender frameworks, and ensuring that all sourcing aligns with local laws and company governance. You will help shape the local procurement strategy to guarantee cost-effective and timely delivery of Owner Supplied Equipment for data centres. The position offers a dynamic environment where you can influence operational outcomes and contribute to the company's rapid expansion.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end procurement activities including RFx for timely and compliant OSE deliveries.
• Develop and oversee tender processes from scopes of work to award recommendations.
• Support contract preparation, negotiation, and ongoing supplier administration.
• Conduct market research to identify cost drivers, risks, and trends.
• Ensure all purchasing actions comply with local regulations and company governance.
• Identify and onboard new suppliers to strengthen supply chain resilience.
• Partner with the Development team to align expectations and support operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Technology in Electrical or Mechanical engineering.
• Post-graduation in Management preferred.
• 5+ years of experience developing and executing procurement strategies and high-value contract negotiations.
• 3+ years of specific experience in Data Centre Procurement.
• Strong understanding of commercial principles, sourcing models, and contract lifecycle management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for stakeholder engagement.
• Ability to operate autonomously with strong prioritization and time management skills.
