Sanctuary is a US-based real estate company creating nature-led, wellness-centered communities globally, starting with a 135-acre project in the Texas Hill Country. The company is seeking a Senior FP&A Associate to establish and lead its financial planning and analysis function. In this full-time role based in Delhi, you will step into an environment with multiple entities, active construction draws, lenders, and vendors, bringing structure and visibility to the financials. A normal day involves building and maintaining monthly financial tracking, supporting budgeting and forecasting, analyzing spending trends, collaborating with bookkeeping to ensure accurate data, conducting pricing analyses, and delivering clear financial insights to leadership for decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain monthly financial tracking across the business.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and forward planning over the next 12-24 months.
• Analyze spending trends and help leadership understand incoming and outgoing funds.
• Support pricing-related analysis and decision-making.
• Work closely with bookkeeping and accounting to ensure financial data is accurate and usable.
• Identify and resolve inconsistencies, gaps, or patterns in financial data.
• Organize financial information into clear, structured outputs for internal use.
• Support leadership with ad-hoc financial analysis and planning requests.

Requirements

• 5 to 8 years of experience in FP&A, finance, financial analysis, or a similar role.
• Real, specific experience building financial models, reporting, or planning processes from scratch.
• Deep fluency in both Excel and Google Sheets.
• Comfortable using QuickBooks or similar accounting software.
• Genuinely energized by ambiguity and figuring things out independently.
• Clear, direct communicator who can explain complex numbers simply to founders.
• Strong ownership of outcomes and ability to take initiative.

Good to have

• Experience in real estate, construction, or property-level finance.
• Direct experience shaping a pricing decision.
• Experience across multiple company stages from seed through Series A+.
• Experience writing, speaking, or teaching on startup finance.
