Axi, a global provider of margin and deliverable Foreign Exchange, Contracts for Difference, and financial spread betting, is hiring a Senior Product Manager for their Crypto Trading Product Team in Bangalore. In this role, you will work closely with the Head of Product to build and scale multi-country trading products spanning Spot, Futures, Options, and related experiences. This is a hands-on execution position where you will take charge of trading products end-to-end, from identifying trader needs and writing detailed specifications to collaborating with engineering, design, operations, compliance, and security teams. A normal day involves diving deep into the intricate mechanics of trading systems—such as order types, validation logic, routing, position management, P&L calculations, and chart trading—while making key decisions, unblocking teams, and ensuring reliable product performance under real-world conditions.
Responsibilities
- Own and execute trading products across Spot and Derivatives with a focus on stability and risk mitigation.
- Write detailed product specs that translate trading requirements into clear instructions for engineering and design.
- Manage the logic and mechanics of trading products including order types, pricing, fees, margin, and risk flows.
- Partner with engineering to influence architecture, APIs, order lifecycles, and technical constraints.
- Collaborate with design to build intuitive trading experiences without sacrificing core functionality.
- Define success metrics, monitor products post-launch, and drive continuous iteration.
- Gather trader feedback and product data to identify problems and opportunities for improvement.
Requirements
- 5+ years of Product Management experience with background in shipping equity or crypto trading products.
- Deep understanding of Spot and Derivatives trading mechanics and the order lifecycle.
- Ability to write detailed product specs covering formulas, edge cases, state transitions, and failure scenarios.
- Proficiency in AI native workflows using AI tools and LLMs with strong human-in-the-loop judgment.
- Skill in forcing trade-off conversations and grounding prioritization in business reality.
- Strong grasp of trader psychology and what motivates trader choices.
- Appropriate rights and documentation for employment in India.
