AlphaSense is hiring a Senior Risk & Governance Engineer to lead automation and engineering within their GRC function in India. In a normal day, you will design automated compliance testing pipelines, build custom API integrations, develop AI-assisted workflows for risk analysis and evidence gathering, govern agentic AI systems, and implement policy-as-code frameworks to achieve continuous audit readiness.
Responsibilities
- Design and maintain automated compliance testing pipelines across cloud and internal systems.
- Build custom API integrations and automated evidence connectors for the GRC platform.
- Develop AI-assisted workflows for evidence summarization, risk analysis, and vendor triage.
- Define governance frameworks, control sets, and compliance posture for AI and agentic systems.
- Implement the policy program as code with version control and automated checks.
- Instrument controls with observability tooling for real-time risk visibility and alerting.
- Integrate GRC tooling with the broader security stack like SIEM, EDR, and CSPM.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in GRC, information security, risk management, or IT audit.
- Experience working in a SaaS environment.
- Expertise in compliance automation engineering and continuous control monitoring.
- Proficiency in building custom API integrations and evidence connectors.
- Hands-on experience with AI-native workflows, LLMs, and agentic frameworks.
- Knowledge of policy as code and common control frameworks like SOC 2 and ISO standards.
- Familiarity with security tooling integration including SIEM, EDR, and CSPM.
