As part of our expanding Content organization in Bengaluru, the Business Analyst II joins a newly formed Content Strategy, Planning and Analysis team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional groups like Product, Engineering, Finance, Legal, Operations, and Revenue. A normal day involves conducting due diligence, analyzing complex data to build reports and dashboards, handling content requests, tracking industry trends, and evaluating partnership opportunities. You will help integrate valuable structured and unstructured content into our SaaS platform, ensuring continuous value for our enterprise users and supporting operational decision-making across global teams.

Responsibilities

• Conduct due diligence and comparative analysis for content sources to support business cases and cost-benefit scenarios.
• Handle ad hoc data analysis and reporting requests covering usage, readership, and coverage details across the platform.
• Support the investigation and resolution of inquiries from internal and external stakeholders and vendors.
• Perform detailed data analysis to build dashboards and reporting for projects in collaboration with BI functions.
• Track, process, and manage content requests in ProductBoard while generating informative reports and presentations.
• Monitor industry trends, source new content sets, and compile competitive intelligence to inform content strategy.
• Identify and support internal process improvement opportunities by performing gap analysis and implementing target workflows.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 or more years of experience in business intelligence, data analysis, and due diligence within consulting, financial, or corporate services.
• Strong critical thinking with attention to detail to build effective presentations and actionable suggestions for leaders.
• Strong analytical skills to identify patterns from complex data and produce accurate conclusions.
• Experience with data manipulation in SQL, Python, or R, and data visualization using Tableau, PowerBI, or Looker.
• Exceptional proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Google Sheets, Google Docs, and Google Slides.
• Ability to multitask, work under time pressure, and contribute independently to deliver tangible results.

Good to have

• Domain knowledge and familiarity with user workflows across buy-side, sell-side, investment banking, private equity, venture capital, and consulting.
• Subject-matter expertise with content feeds, metadata, and assorted document delivery types.
• Proactive self-starter with strong written and verbal English communication skills to build global relationships.
• Bachelor's Degree in information systems, statistics, computer science, business administration, or a related field.
• Experience with Product Development frameworks like Agile or Kanban, or process improvement methodologies like Six Sigma.
