As the Snr Director of HR at the Bangalore location, this strategic leadership role involves driving regional HR strategies across APAC, aligning closely with the CHRO, and serving as a global HR Business Partner. In a normal day, the leader partners directly with C-level executives to cultivate organizational excellence, champions change management, oversees compliance and talent management, collaborates with Global Success Hub site leaders, and manages complex employee relations alongside local HR teams and the Legal department. The role requires guiding high-performing HR teams, ensuring cross-location alignment, and handling employment contract matters.
Responsibilities
- Partner with Global Success Hub site leaders to develop and manage a unified success hub framework across structure, benefits, compensation, and talent branding.
- Draft and implement robust HR policies, procedures, and employee handbooks for international entities.
- Work collaboratively with the CHRO International, local HR teams, and Legal to manage complex employee relations.
- Oversee compliance requirements regarding employee contracts, bonuses, pensions, and required filings.
- Oversee a team of HR Directors and HR Managers to enhance the employee experience and implement innovative solutions.
- Research and anticipate legal issues from a People Operations perspective to avoid litigation and reduce risk.
- Assist the Expansion team in their recruitment process and represent the company at proceedings as required.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field or experience required.
- Minimum 10 years of human resource leadership experience.
- Significant experience in both operational and strategic HR supporting multiple countries, preferably in a fast-growing environment.
- Fluent in English and preferable in at least one other language of the covered countries.
- Thorough knowledge of applicable employment-related laws and regulations in the APAC region.
- Ability to travel to various locations within the APAC region and the US office on a 1 or 2 yearly basis.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite, and HRIS systems.
Good to have
- Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field or experience.
- Proficiency in at least one other language spoken in the APAC countries under this position.
