bswift India is hiring a Software Engineer in Bangalore to help build and support the technology driving its contact center operations. Since 1996, bswift has focused on transforming benefits administration through advanced cloud technology, making HR and employee processes simpler and more human. In this role, you will work across telephony systems, IVR scripting, digital chat, API integrations, and Salesforce, while also contributing to internal applications like the CSR portal. A typical day involves developing and maintaining NICE ACD and digital chat scripts, troubleshooting API integrations with JSON payloads, writing database queries, joining Agile team ceremonies, and collaborating closely with Telephony, Development, Salesforce, and Workforce Management teams under the guidance of a Technical Lead to ensure smooth client service operations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain client-specific IVR and digital chat scripts on the NICE or equivalent platform.
• Write, maintain, and troubleshoot script-level API integrations utilizing RESTful APIs and JSON payloads.
• Contribute to building and enhancing the UDR CSR portal using React, DynamoDB, and single sign-on integrations.
• Write and troubleshoot SQL and NoSQL queries across PostgreSQL, SQL Server, DynamoDB, and Salesforce.
• Support new client implementations by verifying configurations and coordinating IVR and chat script updates.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, maintain clear documentation, and follow Git-based development workflows.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Telephony, Salesforce, Development, and Workforce Management teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in software development, contact center technology, telephony, or IVR scripting.
• Familiarity with JavaScript or similar scripting languages with a willingness to learn NICE proprietary scripting.
• Working knowledge of JSON and experience integrating or troubleshooting RESTful API calls.
• Exposure to React and DynamoDB or strong programming fundamentals with a readiness to learn them.
• Basic knowledge of SQL alongside exposure to NoSQL databases.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies, Git version control, and collaborative workflows.

Good to have

• Familiarity with quality management tools like Cresta and their integrations with Salesforce and NICE.
• Exposure to automated outbound outreach solutions such as NICE ProactiveXS driven by Salesforce data.
• Prior exposure to contact center technologies including ACD, IVR, or digital chat platforms.
• Experience or familiarity with the Benefits Administration domain.
