As a Staff Software Engineer for Full Stack within the Content Experience Team, you will focus heavily on frontend development while building reliable, high-performing, and scalable software systems for the platform. A typical day in this role involves shaping technical architecture, designing backend services alongside frontend microapps, mentoring fellow engineers, leading design discussions, driving engineering excellence, and integrating intelligent features into the product. You will collaborate closely with globally distributed cross-functional teams to deliver robust, customer-focused solutions that empower professionals to make smarter business choices.

Responsibilities

• Design and build performant, scalable software systems spanning both backend and frontend domains.
• Take charge of technical architecture and system reliability across backend services and frontend microapps.
• Lead technical design sessions, define requirements, and deliver maintainable solutions.
• Own full-stack initiatives ranging from backend APIs to frontend integration.
• Mentor and coach engineering colleagues to elevate technical standards across the team.
• Apply cloud-native engineering, CI/CD, and DevOps best practices to boost delivery efficiency.
• Collaborate globally with cross-functional stakeholders and distributed teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of software development experience building robust and high-performing applications.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript alongside solid full-stack development experience.
• Expertise in modern web frameworks such as React, TypeScript, and GraphQL.
• Experience with at least one backend language or framework like Node.js, Java, or Python.
• Solid computer science fundamentals covering data structures, algorithms, distributed systems, and multithreading.
• Experience with SQL or NoSQL databases and cloud-native development on AWS or GCP.

Good to have

• Track record of driving AI adoption within engineering teams and establishing best practices.
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools like Kubernetes, Docker, and Helm.
• Experience with observability platforms, service reliability, on-call ownership, and production incident triage.
• Hands-on experience utilizing AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code or Copilot.
