MongoDB is seeking an Associate, HR Shared Services to join its four-member HR Shared Services team based in Gurugram. MongoDB provides a unified data platform and cloud-native solutions, helping organizations and builders innovate globally. In this full-time role, you will be part of a team that handles global benefits operations across 24 countries, managing the complete employee lifecycle from hire to retire. A normal day in this position involves administering end-to-end benefits including enrollments, updates, and cancellations, managing vendor relations and escalations, handling employee queries, and delivering payroll inputs related to benefits. You will also maintain process documentation, ensure compliance, support renewals and reporting, partner with internal stakeholders, and contribute to process improvement and automation initiatives while working a 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM shift.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end benefits operations, enrollments, changes, and cancellations within defined SLAs.
• Handle vendor management, vendor coordination, issue resolution, and performance tracking.
• Resolve employee queries and manage escalations related to benefits.
• Provide benefits-related payroll inputs and support reporting and reconciliations.
• Partner with internal stakeholders, HR, Payroll, Finance, Legal, and external vendors.
• Support benefits communications, compliance, and renewals.
• Maintain and build Standard Operating Procedures and process documentation.
• Identify gaps and recommend process improvements, standardization, and automation.

Requirements

• 3 to 4 years of hands-on experience in core benefits within an HR Shared Services or global benefits environment.
• Strong knowledge of benefits administration, eligibility, life events, and operations across health, welfare, retirement, leave, or statutory benefits.
• Demonstrated experience in benefits vendor management and SLA adherence.
• Proficiency in ticketing or case management tools such as Zendesk.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for stakeholder interactions.
• Comfortable working in a 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM shift and a 24x7 HR shared services environment.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and handle competing priorities.

Good to have

• Exposure to benefits operations supporting the Americas region.
• Experience managing benefits renewals and vendor interactions.
• Background in handling employee escalations and stakeholder communications.
