As an SDET 2 - Platform at AiDASH, Inc. in Gurugram, Haryana, you will take ownership of the quality of AI-powered applications that drive the company's platform offerings. Your day-to-day work involves analyzing application requirements and system architecture to build robust test strategies covering functional and performance behaviors. You will write API automation scripts in Java using RestAssured, perform data validation across databases like Postgres and MongoDB, conduct performance testing using JMeter, and monitor production health using Kubernetes and AWS tools. Additionally, you will debug issues across different infrastructure layers, manage the defect lifecycle, and work alongside development teams to ensure reliable software delivery. AiDASH is known for its PreventionFirst movement, providing grid intelligence and satellite inspection solutions to electric utilities. This full-time role places you at the intersection of automation, data validation, and platform resilience, helping the team ship high-performing applications efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Design test strategies and cases based on the architecture of platform applications and data-processing solutions.
• Build robust API automation using Java and RestAssured, alongside Python scripting.
• Perform data validation across APIs, databases like Postgres and MongoDB, and data-processing outputs.
• Conduct performance testing and benchmarking using tools such as JMeter.
• Debug issues across application and infrastructure layers including services, queues, databases, Kubernetes, and AWS.
• Build and maintain automation pipelines using Jenkins and generate reports with Allure.
• Monitor post-production health and alerts by checking service health and logs on Kubernetes and AWS.
• Manage defects end-to-end, perform root cause analysis, and collaborate with developers for resolution.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience testing backend applications with strong skills in API testing and data validation.
• Experience in API automation using Java and RestAssured and/or Python scripting.
• Experience in performance testing using tools like JMeter.
• Hands-on experience with databases such as Postgres and MongoDB for query writing and data validation.
• Knowledge of AWS services and experience working with Kubernetes clusters for logs and service health.
• Understanding of queues and caching.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and decision-making abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to meet deadlines under pressure.

Good to have

• Basics of gRPC and Airflow DAGs.
• Web application testing and automation using Selenium or Playwright.
• Knowledge of testing and validating machine learning and AI-based applications.
• Familiarity with AI tools and editors to increase work velocity.
