In the role of Data Conversion Lead Consultant at ApexIT, you will work within the technical team to help transform client experiences by designing, developing, testing, and delivering Oracle application solutions. A normal day in this remote or in-office position involves collaborating on client projects, populating FBDI templates, loading and enhancing inbound data, performing data conversions and reconciliations, and writing technical design documents. You will also use tools like SQL and Excel to extract and reconcile data while communicating effectively with both IT and business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Work with the technical team to populate FBDI templates and load inbound data
• Enhance inbound data and test the conversion process end-to-end
• Create functional specifications and perform data mapping
• Reconcile converted data with legacy data
• Extract converted data from Oracle Cloud using SQL and Excel
• Present reconciliation results to client personnel
• Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders as a consultant

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience with Oracle Applications with prior data conversion and reconciliation experience
• Experience in creating functional specifications, working with FBDI templates, and data mapping
• Basic understanding of Oracle Applications base tables, interface tables, APIs, and OIC FBDI templates
• Experience with SQL and Excel for data extraction and reconciliation
• Basic understanding of business processes like Procure to Pay and Order to Cash
• Excellent technical problem-solving and independent work abilities
• Client interfacing skills for working with IT and business stakeholders
• Experience in master and transactional data conversions in Finance and SCM with at least 1 end-to-end implementation

Good to have

• Knowledge of Hyperion based EPBCS
• Experience with SAP Adapters, DB2, and RSTARS (SOAR)
