At Databricks, the mission is to help customers solve complex data problems using the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform. As a Delivery Solutions Architect (DSA) based in Mumbai, India, you will work closely with sales and field engineering teams to accelerate platform adoption and drive growth within customer accounts. This hybrid role combines commercial strategy with post-sale technical leadership. On a normal day, you will act as the accountable technical lead for complex customers, guiding them from a technical win through onboarding, enablement, and successful go-live of their chosen workloads. You will build executive relationships, coordinate specialized internal teams, manage customer health and KPIs, resolve technical escalations, and create strategic execution plans to maximize platform value and return on investment.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with sales and field engineering teams to drive platform adoption and growth.
• Lead post-technical win strategies and execution plans for strategic customer accounts.
• Serve as the primary technical point of contact for production and go-live activities.
• Coordinate shared services, onboarding, support, and professional services resources.
• Navigate product and engineering teams for innovations, private previews, and upgrades.
• Develop execution plans covering product adoption, enablement, and governance.
• Provide KPI reporting and status updates on usage and customer health to the Technical GM.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience accountable for technical project or program delivery in Data and AI.
• Programming experience in Python, SQL, or Scala.
• Experience in customer-facing pre-sales, technical architecture, customer success, or consulting.
• Understanding of solution architecture related to distributed data systems.
• Technical program or project management with stakeholder and resource accountability.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Ability to travel up to 30% when needed.

Good to have

• Experience resolving complex escalations with senior customer executives.
• Experience conducting discovery workshops and creating strategic roadmaps.
• Track record of overachievement against quota, goals, or similar objective targets.
