As a Software Engineer for Infrastructure based in Bengaluru, you will join the IT CorpEng Infrastructure team to build and evolve core infrastructure and observability platforms. This position bridges software engineering and systems architecture to deliver resilient cloud solutions. During a normal day, you will automate cloud infrastructure using tools like Terraform, manage containerized workloads on Kubernetes, design deployment pipelines via GitHub Actions, and build internal tools or automation scripts. You will also implement observability standards, collaborate closely with cross-functional teams such as Security and Engineering, participate in code reviews, and maintain operational guides to ensure the AWS environment remains cost-optimized, secure, and highly available.

Responsibilities

• Build and deploy production cloud infrastructure using Terraform or Pulumi.
• Manage and scale containerized workloads using Kubernetes with a focus on security and reliability.
• Create and maintain deployment pipelines using GitHub Actions.
• Implement observability frameworks to ensure applications feature built-in logging, metrics, and tracing.
• Develop internal CLI tools, AI-assisted workflows, and automation scripts.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Security, Engineering, and Support teams.
• Participate in code reviews, maintain operational playbooks, and support team onboarding.

Requirements

• 3 to 5 years of practical software engineering experience.
• Strong coding proficiency in Python for automation and tooling.
• Working knowledge of Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or Pulumi.
• Hands-on production experience with AWS and containerization using Kubernetes and Docker.
• Practical experience designing and troubleshooting CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions.
• Understanding of observability tools such as Datadog, Prometheus, or Grafana.
• Ability to independently execute end-to-end tasks with guidance from tech leads.
