Graphcore, a global leader in AI computing systems and part of the SoftBank Group, is expanding with a new AI Engineering Campus in Bengaluru. The Finance Manager APAC will lead regional finance operations for entities in India and Taiwan from the Bengaluru location. In this hands-on leadership role, the individual will oversee financial governance, statutory compliance, payroll, treasury, and internal controls. The job involves partnering closely with outsourced accounting providers, the UK Group Finance team, and local business leaders. A normal day typically includes reviewing monthly accounts, coordinating with external service providers, ensuring adherence to Group policies, managing payroll and treasury tasks, and integrating local financial data into Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central for seamless Group reporting.

Responsibilities

• Manage relationships with outsourced finance and payroll providers in India and Taiwan.
• Review and approve monthly management accounts and payroll preparations.
• Post monthly journals into Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central for Group reporting.
• Oversee statutory accounting, tax compliance, treasury activities, and cash management.
• Partner with local leadership, People, and Facilities teams to support regional business operations.
• Design and maintain local financial controls and drive continuous process improvements.

Requirements

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA), CPA, or equivalent professional accounting qualification.
• 6+ years of post-qualified experience, preferably within an international tech, semiconductor, or engineering setting.
• Background in managing outsourced accounting providers or shared service finance operations.
• Solid knowledge of statutory accounting, financial reporting, and internal controls.
• Experience working with multinational organisations and multiple legal entities.
• Strong Excel proficiency and financial analysis capabilities.

Good to have

• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or a comparable ERP system.
• Background working with external auditors, tax advisers, and payroll providers.
• Experience supporting month-end reporting and Group consolidations.
• Familiarity with designing or using agentic workflows to enhance finance processes.
