As an IT Support Specialist (Network, Office Buildout & Physical Security) at Ontic's Pune office, you will serve as the hands-on, on-site IT presence responsible for planning, deploying, and supporting network infrastructure, office technology, and physical security coordination. A normal day in this role involves executing IT workstreams for office startup, troubleshooting wired and wireless network issues, providing end-user support for macOS and Windows, administering endpoint management tooling like Jamf and Microsoft Intune, coordinating with local vendors, managing physical security systems such as Genetec, and maintaining accurate documentation and inventory for audit readiness.

Responsibilities

• Execute IT workstreams for the active office opening, ongoing network optimization, and equipment staging in Pune.
• Coordinate with local vendors and contractors for structured maintenance, rack/IDF/MDF buildouts, and ISP provisioning.
• Provide on-site and remote end-user support and incident triage for macOS and Windows users.
• Deploy, configure, and support core office networking components including switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless access points.
• Administer the office Genetec security system and coordinate local physical security readiness.
• Maintain accurate inventory for Pune office IT and network assets, including spares and peripherals.
• Support meeting room readiness and coordinate installations for conference room equipment.

Requirements

• 3+ years of hands-on IT support experience with an emphasis on networking and endpoint support fundamentals.
• Strong understanding of network fundamentals including TCP/IP, subnetting, VLANs, routing, DHCP, DNS, NAT, and Wi-Fi design.
• Experience deploying and supporting network equipment in an office environment.
• Ability to read and create network diagrams and maintain accurate documentation.
• Proven experience.
