As a Site Reliability Engineer at Ensono in Pune, India, you will play a key role in supporting the technology adviser and managed service provider's mission-critical operations. Ensono assists organizations with digital transformation, public cloud migration, mainframe and application modernization, and hybrid environment optimization. In your daily work, you will spend your time troubleshooting issues, implementing fixes, and identifying systemic failures based on incidents. You will also propose solutions to reduce toil, improve service requests and change management processes through technical work and stakeholder management, and lead discussions in client-facing meetings regarding the SRE process. Additionally, you will participate in security management to mitigate risks in code, infrastructure, and dependencies, while engaging with suppliers and third parties for support and requests.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot issues and identify systemic failings indicated by incidents and failures
• Implement technical fixes and propose solutions for reducing toil
• Provide leadership in the incident resolution process, including documentation and post-mortem analysis
• Improve service requests and change management processes technically and through stakeholder management
• Participate in security management to proactively mitigate risks in code, infrastructure, and dependencies
• Lead client-facing discussions around the SRE process and identify areas to increase the SRE footprint
• Engage with suppliers and third parties for support, requests, and opportunities

Requirements

• Commercial experience and proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tooling such as Terraform, ARM, bicep, or CloudFront
• Experience with core CI/CD tooling like Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, GitLab, or Harness
• Experience with monitoring tools including DataDog, Splunk, NewRelic, or Azure Monitor
• Commercial experience in at least one core technology such as Dotnet, Java, or Javascript
• Availability to work shift timings from 1:30 PM IST to 10:30 PM IST and provide 24*7 on-call support

Good to have

• Experience with Harness CI/CD tooling
• SRE Foundation certificate from DevOps Institute
• Azure Associate-level certification
