MongoDB is looking for a Manager, International Compliance to oversee statutory, regulatory, and corporate compliance for MongoDB entities outside the US. This position connects Controllership, Legal, and Tax, making sure the company follows local corporate, tax, labor, and exchange control regulations internationally while aiding the broader global controllership agenda. A normal day in this role involves managing end-to-end compliance across multiple jurisdictions, keeping a compliance calendar, handling corporate governance and secretarial tasks, collaborating with the Global Tax team, strengthening internal controls such as SOX, supervising a small compliance team, and partnering with Legal, HR, FP&A, and external advisors to address regulatory needs and standardize tracking processes. Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end international compliance across corporate, tax, exchange control, and labor laws
• Ensure timely statutory filings and maintain a compliance calendar across all jurisdictions
• Coordinate corporate governance matters with local company secretaries and external counsel
• Partner with the Global Tax team on transfer pricing, audits, and exchange control compliance
• Maintain internal controls like SOX and act as a contact point for auditors
• Supervise, mentor, and set priorities for a small compliance team
• Collaborate with Legal, HR, and global finance stakeholders on regulatory and labor matters

Requirements

• 8-10 years of progressive experience in international statutory compliance, secretarial, or regulatory roles
• Exposure to a multinational or SaaS/tech environment
• Working knowledge of corporate governance, exchange control, and compliance across multiple jurisdictions
• Experience liaising with regulators, statutory auditors, and external counsel
• Prior experience operating in a SOX-controlled environment
• Supervisory or mentoring experience
• Excellent communication skills to translate complex regulatory requirements
