The Sales Support Associate role at MongoDB involves providing front line support to a rapidly growing sales organization in Gurugram. A normal day typically involves handling support tickets through a case queue, updating data such as account and territory assignments, performing data maintenance and cleanup, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure smooth sales operations under a hybrid work model with afternoon shift timings.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 1 support for sales through the Sales Operations Case Queue by triaging, resolving, and escalating issues.
• Perform data maintenance and cleanup initiatives including account hierarchies, merging accounts, and contact movements.
• Handle user administration tasks such as activating new users and deactivating departing users in sales tools.
• Execute data updates including account and territory assignments.
• Identify recurring trends, issues, and requests while creating documentation and SOPs.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret data to spot patterns and generate insights for internal customers.
• Create requirement gathering documents and user acceptance testing scenarios.

Requirements

• Graduate in any discipline, with a Bachelor's degree or higher in Operations, Business, Project Management, or Engineering preferred.
• Minimum 1.5 years of sales operations experience preferred.
• Good Salesforce know-how and a basic understanding of core objects like account, contact, lead, and opportunity.
• Experience working with ticketing or case management systems such as Salesforce, Zendesk, or Jira.
• Proficiency in handling large volumes of data and basic SQL understanding.
• Intermediate proficiency in Advanced Excel and Macros, along with hands-on experience on Microsoft Office or Google Suite.
• Must be based in Gurugram for the hybrid working model.

Good to have

• Hands-on experience on Data Loader, Demand Tools, or similar tools.
• Knowledge of research databases such as ZoomInfo, InsideView, and Crunchbase.
