As a Senior Data Analyst at MongoDB, you will join the analytics organization within the Executive Insights team based in Gurugram. MongoDB provides a unified data platform designed to help organizations modernize workloads, embrace innovation, and leverage AI through its cloud-native platform, MongoDB Atlas. Your team is responsible for synthesizing operational and revenue data from across the company to measure overall business health and trajectory. In a normal day, you will collaborate with partner teams like FP&A, Accounting, Sales Operations, and Cloud Billing to build data pipelines, create visualizations, and deliver recurring revenue reports. This high-visibility role provides direct exposure to senior leadership, supporting the office of the CFO by empowering executives to make data-backed decisions. You will work in a hybrid setup, helping drive transparency and data democratization for core company metrics.

Responsibilities

• Analyze performance metrics to uncover growth drivers for executive decision-making.
• Generate insights to address requests prior to critical reporting events like earnings and investor days.
• Collaborate with the team to manage end-to-end delivery of weekly, monthly, and quarterly revenue and consumption reports.
• Identify and resolve data quality issues, reporting discrepancies, and broken pipelines.
• Maintain clear documentation for metric definitions, report logic, and data lineage.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of experience in a data, analyst, or BI role owning key business metrics reporting.
• Advanced SQL skills with the ability to write and optimize queries for large-scale data warehouses.
• Working knowledge of Python for tasks related to data transformation, analysis, or automation.
• Practical experience using Tableau or comparable business intelligence tools.
• Background in agent-driven development practices.
• Experience dealing with consumption-based or usage-based revenue data.
• Based in Gurugram for the hybrid work model.

Good to have

• Exposure to analytics engineering practices such as dbt, data modeling, and testing frameworks.
• Familiarity with subscription, metered billing, or usage analytics.
