As a Senior Machine Learning Engineer specializing in NLP, you will work closely with top-tier talent from major technology firms on cutting-edge systems. Your daily routine involves building and optimizing advanced NLP solutions, working with LLMs, collaborating across teams, and developing scalable production pipelines. You will help implement modern reasoning and memory modules, establish evaluation benchmarks, and ensure robust model performance, scalability, and continual learning to shape the future of enterprise AI applications.

Responsibilities

• Understand customer needs and apply advanced machine learning techniques to build data-driven solutions
• Tackle NLP challenges across voice agents, agentic applications, text classification, entity extraction, and summarisation using LLMs
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate and upgrade AI capabilities within products and services
• Optimize current machine learning models for improved performance, scalability, and efficiency
• Implement and evaluate reasoning, planning, and memory modules for AI agents
• Build, deploy, and take ownership of scalable production NLP pipelines alongside post-deployment monitoring
• Propose appropriate evaluation metrics, establish benchmarks, and stay updated with state-of-the-art industry techniques

Requirements

• B.Tech, M.Tech, or PhD in computer science or mathematics-related fields from tier-1 engineering institutes
• 3+ years of industry experience in Machine Learning and Natural Language Processing
• Strong coding skills in Python and PyTorch with working familiarity with Transformers and LangChain or LangGraph
• Practical experience solving NLP problems like text classification, entity tagging, information retrieval, and question-answering
• Hands-on experience with Transformer-based Language Models including BERT, Llama, Qwen, Gemma, and DeepSeek
• In-depth familiarity with LLM training concepts, model inference optimizations, and GPUs
• Experience deploying Machine Learning and Deep Learning models using REST API, Docker, and Kubernetes

Good to have

• Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP and their machine learning services
• Familiarity with multimodal models and real-time streaming tools such as Kafka or Pub/Sub
• Experience with open-source LLMs like LLaMA and Mistral, vector search, RAG, and prompt engineering
• Active contributions to AI side projects or GitHub repositories
• Exposure to vector databases and retrieval pipelines like FAISS and Pinecone
