Ensono is a technology adviser and managed service provider that accelerates clients' digital transformation across hybrid environments. As a Distributed Technical Advisor at Ensono, you will act as a senior technical leader for complex distributed infrastructure and private cloud environments. In this role, you will work as the lead technical layer above individual technology towers, partnering closely with onshore teams to drive cross-tower coordination and service improvements. A normal day involves serving as the primary technical focal point for high-value clients, leading major incident and escalation resolution, coaching engineering teams on complex troubleshooting, and maintaining a strong focus on service reliability, MTTR, and SLA commitments across global delivery models.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the senior technical focal point for assigned high-value strategic clients.
• Lead cross-tower technical coordination across OS, Virtualization, Network, Storage, Middleware, Database, and VDI.
• Provide senior technical leadership during major incidents and critical escalations to drive service restoration.
• Coach engineering teams on complex troubleshooting, end-to-end service thinking, and reliability improvements.
• Act as the India-based technical counterpart to the onshore Lead TA to maintain alignment on client priorities and risks.
• Identify recurring issues, technical gaps, and opportunities for automation and standardization.
• Participate in technical reviews, client discussions, and service improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• 15+ years of experience in enterprise IT infrastructure, distributed technology, data center, or private cloud environments.
• Extensive hands-on experience with Microsoft Windows Server and enterprise Linux administration and troubleshooting.
• Extensive hands-on experience with VMware vSphere and ESXi clusters, resource management, and troubleshooting.
• Proven experience coordinating major incidents and critical escalations with a strong understanding of SLAs and MTTR.
• Demonstrated client-facing experience working with enterprise clients and senior technical stakeholders.
• Experience in global delivery models supporting US-based clients and onshore technical teams.
• Ability to work primarily US business hours, including an early-morning India start.

Good to have

• Working exposure to Network technologies such as LAN, WAN, routing, firewalls, and load balancing.
• Exposure to Enterprise Storage including SAN, NAS, replication, backup, and DR.
• Familiarity with Middleware platforms, web or application servers, and integration.
• Knowledge of Databases such as SQL Server and Oracle with HA/DR configurations.
• Exposure to VDI, EUC, Private/Hybrid Cloud, Automation, and Monitoring tools.
