MongoDB is expanding rapidly and seeks a Specialist, Sales Performance to join its team in Gurugram. MongoDB is a global data platform company helping organizations modernize legacy workloads and embrace AI through its unified and cloud-native solutions. In this role, you will be part of a newly created team within the Finance and Accounting organization that connects sales strategy with sales commissions. Your daily activities will involve working closely with executives and internal groups like Sales, Sales Operations, Finance, and HR. You will provide administrative support and analytical insights for compensation programs, contribute to sales performance metrics, and help improve overall sales productivity in a hybrid work environment.
Responsibilities
- Analyze large datasets and conduct ad-hoc audits to support various business programs.
- Design, develop, and maintain processes to generate insights into sales KPIs and incentive compensation plans.
- Partner with Sales Operations, Business Operations, and Commissions teams to ensure accurate incentive payouts.
- Perform periodic sales audits and build processes to drive automation efforts.
- Develop visibility tools to improve sales incentives and enhance dashboard visualizations.
- Collaborate continuously with key business partners across Sales, Finance, and HR departments.
- Act as a sales performance expert by supporting enablement efforts and managing exception cases.
Requirements
- Strong interpersonal skills with a hypothesis-driven mindset and openness to feedback.
- Excellent communication skills to simplify complex technical concepts into business terms and KPIs.
- Ability to work independently on analytics projects, derive actionable insights, and coordinate with stakeholders.
- 3 to 4 years of experience in Consulting, Sales Strategy, or Sales Analytics.
- Proficiency in SQL and Python with strong spreadsheet skills for large dataset analysis.
- Experience using at least one major BI tool such as Tableau, Google Data Studio, or Looker.
