As a Sr. Machine Learning Engineer focused on Speech, you will be an integral part of a talented team, working directly alongside alumni from tech giants like Amazon, Facebook, and Google. In this role, your daily focus will involve tackling complex challenges within speech-to-text pipelines, training and maintaining scalable automatic speech recognition systems, and independently experimenting with advanced model architectures. You will collaborate closely with team members in an agile setting to design system architectures, ensuring Level AI remains at the forefront of enterprise AI applications while learning, growing, and shaping the future of conversational intelligence.

Responsibilities

• Work on speech-to-text pipeline problems like transcription, diarization, and voice activity detection.
• Train, deploy, and maintain scalable automatic speech recognition pipelines for the ASR engine.
• Keep abreast of state-of-the-art techniques in ASR and share knowledge with colleagues.
• Collaborate with team members on system architecture and design.
• Independently conduct experiments with model architectures, training schemes, and ASR literature approaches.
• Deliver high-quality products while working in an agile environment.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in the field.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field from a tier-1 engineering institute.
• Experience deploying Deep Learning based models for speech recognition pipelines.
• Awareness of state-of-the-art research in speech recognition and signal processing.
• Algorithm and model development experience for large-scale applications.
• Strong knowledge of Machine Learning fundamentals.
• Experience working with Python and PyTorch.
