Precisely International Jobs is hiring a Support Engineer in Bengaluru, India for a full-time role. Precisely is a global leader in data quality, data enrichment, and location intelligence as an AI-first organization that builds software for data integrity. In this role, you will help customers succeed with their Precisely Data Integration investments, such as Precisely Connect and Sterling B2B Integrator products. A normal day involves delivering technical support via phone, email, and remote desktop connections while meeting service level agreements. You will investigate and resolve complex issues across various software systems, platforms, and databases, create knowledge base documentation, debug product issues, and recommend solutions. This position requires working rotational shifts, including night shifts, and participating in periodic weekend on-call support.

Responsibilities

• Deliver technical support through phone, email, and remote desktop while meeting service level agreements.
• Resolve customer issues quickly to ensure satisfaction and document critical information.
• Investigate and solve complex problems across diverse software systems, platforms, and databases.
• Determine if issues stem from products, third-party libraries, user code, or platform libraries.
• Build comprehensive internal and external knowledge base documentation.
• Debug product issues and provide recommended solutions and tools.
• Participate in rotational shifts, night shifts, and periodic weekend on-call support.

Requirements

• Up to 1 year of work experience in technical support, engineering, or services.
• Knowledge of UNIX/Linux commands and administration.
• Understanding of database management systems, relational design principles, and SQL queries.
• Familiarity with networking design principles and data communication protocols.
• Understanding of cloud services including Azure, GCP, EC2, and S3.
• Basic knowledge of container and virtualization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with any programming language and excellent communication skills.

Good to have

• Prior knowledge of Sterling B2B Integrator, Sterling File Gateway, or Global Mailbox.
• Ability to leverage AI-powered tools such as Claude, GitHub Copilot, or ChatGPT for troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted analysis for root-cause identification.
• Openness to adopting AI-driven workflows in daily operations.
