FalconX is a company that builds digital asset solutions to help clients navigate the cryptocurrency market and institutional trading. As a Trade Ops Associate, your job is to handle trade settlements, maintain ledger accuracy, and serve as the main contact for institutional clients. A normal day in this role involves managing end-to-end settlement workflows, performing daily reconciliations across internal ledgers and external platforms, and tracking inventory needs for trading and lending activities. You will also collaborate closely with the Trading, Treasury, Risk, Product, and Accounting teams to ensure smooth execution, resolve settlement breaks quickly, and support overall liquidity operations in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end trade settlements for institutional counterparties within agreed SLAs.
• Perform daily multi-system reconciliations and resolve any breaks for data accuracy.
• Monitor daily inventory requirements and partner with Treasury for asset location.
• Collaborate with Trading, Product, and Customer Success teams on workflows.
• Transmit accurate trade and fee data to Accounting for end-of-day ledger closing.
• Provide operational inputs to Risk and Compliance for scalable controls.
• Identify coverage gaps and automate manual touchpoints to optimize processes.

Requirements

• 4 to 8 years of professional experience in middle office, trade operations, or settlements.
• Experience working at an Investment Bank, Hedge Fund, Proprietary Trading Firm, or Digital Asset Brokerage.
• Strong desire to build expertise in digital asset market structures and blockchain mechanics.
• Meticulous organizational skills using structured workflows, checklists, and metrics.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and multitask under tight settlement windows.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
