As an Analyst, Quality Assurance at Zocdoc in Pune, you will play a crucial role in strengthening the company's quality ecosystem. In this role within the Triage and Reporting Pod, you will partner closely with QA engineers, product engineers, and cross-functional teams to ensure every issue entering the engineering pipeline is accurate, validated, and data-backed. A normal day involves reviewing and reproducing reported issues, determining root ownership using internal tools and logs, maintaining structured triage workflows, and meeting SLAs during coverage windows. You will also automate periodic data pulls, build dashboards from Jira, analyze triage trends, and prepare regular reports with insights to improve product reliability and accelerate issue resolution.
Responsibilities
- Review, reproduce, and validate all reported issues for accuracy and completeness.
- Determine root ownership of issues using internal tools, logs, and monitoring data.
- Maintain structured triage workflows and meet SLAs, including participation in night triage rotation.
- Automate periodic data pulls and dashboards from Jira and QA systems.
- Analyze triage trends and prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports with actionable insights.
- Identify recurring issue patterns and surface data-backed insights to guide product quality improvements.
- Create and maintain triage playbooks, reusable queries, and data templates.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data, or a related field.
- 2+ years of work experience.
- Strong analytical skills and root cause identification ability.
- Exposure to Jira querying, SQL, Google Sheets, or App Scripts.
- Inclination toward automation and data-driven problem-solving.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and manage SLAs.
