As an Analyst for RTR (ANZ) based in Mumbai, you will play a crucial role in managing general ledger activities and supporting the team. A normal day in this position involves handling client calls, addressing queries, closing the general ledger without discrepancies, preparing journal entries and financial reports, and assisting with various ad-hoc requests from internal and external stakeholders. You will work in a collaborative and hybrid setting, requiring office presence around four days a week, with shift timings between 3:30 am and 6:30 am and cab facilities provided for home pickup and drop.
Responsibilities
- Handle all general ledger related activities and month-end closing processes.
- Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and assist in financial reporting.
- Manage client calls and resolve queries from the OPCO team, departments, agencies, and regions.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly P&L and Balance Sheet reports with schedules for management.
- Coordinate with auditors for interim audits and provide necessary details and schedules.
- Perform monthly analysis of P&L and Balance Sheet items to highlight major variances.
- Ensure SOX compliance and adherence to internal controls and audit requirements.
Requirements
- Commerce Graduate qualification.
- 4 to 7 years of experience in GL Accounting, RTR, or financial reporting.
- Strong understanding of GL Accounting and the RTR process.
- Preference for candidates based in Mumbai.
- Ability to work in shifts between 3:30 am and 6:30 am.
