As a Manager - RTR (ANZ) based in Mumbai, India, you will lead end-to-end Record-to-Report operations, ensuring precise financial reporting, solid financial controls, and smooth period-end closures. The role involves guiding the RTR team and collaborating closely with finance stakeholders to achieve operational excellence and process standardization. On a typical day, you will oversee month-end and year-end closing processes, manage general ledger entries and account reconciliations, supervise tax compliance, handle audit cycles, and partner with corporate finance leaders on budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis while maintaining strict adherence to SOX control processes.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end month-end and year-end closing processes and financial reporting requirements.
• Oversee the general ledger, journal entries, and account reconciliations according to group accounting policy.
• Ensure compliance with tax reporting obligations including income tax, GST, and employment taxes.
• Maintain the integrity of the financial function through Sarbanes & Oxley Control (SOX) compliance.
• Coordinate internal and external audit cycles and resolve financial queries from business leaders.
• Collaborate with corporate finance to prepare annual budgets and monthly or quarterly rolling forecasts.
• Partner with the Senior Finance Manager to drive financial leadership, reporting, and early variance identification.

Requirements

• Qualified CA or Semi-Qualified CA.
• 8-11 years of experience in a similar role managing internal and external stakeholders.
• Excellent technical accounting skills.
• Strong technology skills including proficiency in MS Excel, database applications, and ERP systems.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to deliver outcomes with minimal direct supervision.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
