Nebius, a Nasdaq-listed company developing a full-stack AI cloud platform for the global AI economy, is hiring a Field Deploy Engineer in Hyderabad, India. The role offers a chance to work with advanced technologies in cloud computing and AI infrastructure management. As part of the team, you will directly influence data center performance and customer satisfaction. A normal day involves leading on-site hardware deliveries and deployments at new locations. You will plan and coordinate activities ranging from rack acceptance tests to full operational readiness, supervising the installation of servers, storage, networking, and supporting systems according to exact specifications while collaborating with global infrastructure experts.

Responsibilities

• Manage the hardware deployment plan for new sites by aligning timelines, scope, and resources.
• Coordinate with supply chain, logistics, construction, and network teams to ready GPU servers.
• Supervise physical installation tasks including racking, cabling, and powering hardware.
• Perform functional checks, acceptance tests, and troubleshooting to confirm proper system operation.
• Serve as the primary on-site point of contact for all deployment activities and progress updates.
• Document installation steps, asset details, and operational lessons for future rollouts.
• Support the handoff of newly deployed hardware to steady-state operations teams.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in IT field delivery, hardware, or data center roles.
• Solid knowledge of server, network, and storage installation practices like cabling and power.
• Hands-on data center floor experience with server hardware and Linux troubleshooting.
• Demonstrated ability to coordinate rollouts across multiple vendors and stakeholders.
• Capability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, technical documentation, and layouts.
• Skills to perform deep diagnostics on Linux, firmware, and hardware components.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication abilities.
• Willingness to travel frequently, potentially on short notice.

Good to have

• Familiarity with GPU server platforms and tooling like nvidia-smi and dcgmi.
• Experience using Redfish, BMC tooling, and managing firmware lifecycles.
• Scripting abilities in bash and basic Python for triage and log collection.
• Exposure to OCP-based platforms and ODM manufacturing ecosystems.
• Understanding of industrial or data center health, safety, and environmental standards.
