As a Lead Deployment Engineer at Celonis in Bangalore, you will play a vital role in the Celonis Services delivery team. Celonis is the trusted platform that industrializes Enterprise AI using the Celonis Context Model, combining process data and business knowledge into a digital twin. In this role, you will lead the hands-on implementation of Celonis solutions for enterprise customers by combining deep platform expertise with AI-augmented workflows. A normal day involves conducting business discovery workshops, directing AI deployment agents like Apollo to build data models and analyze processes, validating AI-generated outputs for business relevance, and collaborating with customer stakeholders to ensure successful solution adoption and measurable value realization.

Responsibilities

• Conduct business discovery workshops to translate strategic objectives into high-impact Celonis use cases.
• Direct AI deployment agents to build data models, process analyses, KPIs, and dashboards.
• Build and configure Celonis solutions across the platform including data transformations and operational solutions.
• Validate AI-generated outputs for accuracy, business relevance, and customer context alignment.
• Lead value creation workshops and define measures to improve process inefficiencies.
• Enable key customer users to use and extend the solution independently for long-term adoption.
• Develop and maintain deep expertise in process domains or industry verticals.

Requirements

• A minimum of 8+ years in Management or IT consulting, data/solution consulting, or process improvement consulting.
• Ability to build and configure solutions on the Celonis platform including data modeling and KPI definition.
• Proficiency in PQL, SQL, and Python.
• Comfort working with AI-assisted development tools and writing clear specifications.
• Strong understanding of enterprise business processes and financial metrics.
• Ability to steer customer workshops, present findings, and manage stakeholder expectations.

Good to have

• Experience with prompt engineering or context engineering.
• Knowledge of standard ERPs such as SAP and Oracle.
• Experience in process areas like Inventory Management, Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, or Accounts Payable.
