Glean, a recognized leader in Work AI platforms, is seeking a Lead Salesforce Developer, GTM Systems to join their team in Bangalore, India. Glean builds advanced enterprise search, AI assistants, and scalable AI agents designed to transform how organizations access and utilize workplace knowledge. In this hands-on engineering leadership role, you will take charge of the technical design, development, integration, scalability, and security of the Salesforce platform and revenue systems. You will collaborate closely with Sales, Finance, Revenue Operations, and other business units to build robust solutions. A normal day involves designing scalable data models, writing Apex and LWC code, overseeing integration patterns, reviewing code, mentoring team members, establishing engineering standards, and troubleshooting complex technical challenges to support Glean's growing global operations.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical architecture and delivery of Salesforce solutions across lead, account, opportunity, partner, and revenue workflows.
• Design and build custom Salesforce functionality using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flow, SOQL, SOSL, and APIs.
• Develop, secure, and maintain integrations between Salesforce and third-party applications via REST, SOAP, and middleware.
• Conduct architecture reviews, technical design reviews, and comprehensive code reviews.
• Define and enforce engineering standards, best practices, version control, and release management.
• Mentor Salesforce developers and administrators while guiding them on complex technical hurdles.
• Partner with business teams like Revenue Operations and Finance to translate requirements into scalable solutions.

Requirements

• 7 to 10+ years of Salesforce development experience with enterprise implementations.
• Strong hands-on expertise in Apex, LWC, Salesforce Flow, SOQL, SOSL, and Salesforce APIs.
• Solid understanding of Salesforce architecture, data modeling, sharing models, security, and governor limits.
• Proven experience in designing and troubleshooting REST and SOAP integrations.
• Familiarity with Git and structured CI/CD or Salesforce release-management practices.
• Experience leading technical designs, architecture reviews, and code reviews.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Good to have

• Experience working with middleware or integration platforms and enterprise application integrations.
• Experience writing and maintaining automated tests and deployment validation processes.
