At Paytm, India's top mobile payments and financial services distribution company, the Associate Product Manager for Travel role invites early-career professionals to take charge of a product pod or charter. Paytm focuses on bringing half a billion Indians into the mainstream economy by offering technologies that support small businesses and users with commerce and payments. In this role, your normal day involves analyzing data to understand customer problems, setting product priorities, and partnering closely with Design and Engineering teams. You will launch new features, run experiments, track key performance metrics, and use AI tools to streamline documentation and prototyping. By reviewing user feedback and handling complex problem statements, you will continuously enhance the travel product experience and drive meaningful business results in a dynamic work environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage a product pod or charter with clear business and customer goals.
• Uncover user issues using data analysis, market research, and funnel reviews.
• Build product roadmaps, set priorities, and handle trade-offs.
• Partner with Design, Engineering, Analytics, and Business teams on requirements.
• Run experiments, review results, and scale successful features.
• Monitor product metrics and improve user experiences based on feedback.
• Use AI tools for research, prototyping, documentation, and development.
• Take end-to-end responsibility for results and manage project risks.

Requirements

• Around 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in product management or analytics.
• Background in a scaled consumer internet, fintech, travel, or high-growth startup.
• Proven ownership of product initiatives with measurable impact.
• Strong knowledge of product discovery, prioritization, and experimentation.
• Hands-on experience with Android or iOS products and user experience.
• Ability to work with engineering teams on APIs, data flows, and trade-offs.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret metrics, cohorts, and funnels.
• Proficiency in using modern AI tools for productivity and work quality.

Good to have

• Experience taking a customer problem from discovery to launch with proven impact.
• Exposure to high-traffic products, marketplaces, or conversion journeys.
• Experience building prototypes or using AI beyond basic content creation.
• Familiarity with AI agents or agentic frameworks.
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or an MBA.
