Paytm is India's prominent mobile payments and financial services distribution company, driving the mobile QR payments revolution to bring half a billion Indians into the mainstream economy by utilizing advanced technology. The payments team is currently looking for a Senior Product Manager to join their fast-paced environment and take charge of scaling Paytm's International Expansion charter. In this role, you will be at the core of building critical business products. A normal day in this position involves working closely with business leaders and engineering partners to drive the product strategy, roadmap, and execution. You will design various merchant and payment features, write detailed product requirement documents, coordinate with multiple cross-functional teams including compliance and engineering, and remove technical roadblocks. This position offers a unique chance to shape global fintech products and handle complex, high-scale payment infrastructures in international markets.

Responsibilities

• Manage the complete product roadmap for international payments encompassing merchant onboarding, card acceptance, clearing, settlement, payouts, reconciliation, and merchant experience.
• Manage integrations involving card schemes, onboarding vendors, the card switch, settlement banks, terminal vendors, FX providers, and open banking aggregators.
• Create onboarding, settlement, reconciliation, payment, and merchant features that comply with the regulatory rules of each specific market.
• Manage cross-functional execution by collaborating with product, engineering, compliance, and business teams.
• Partner with solution architects and engineering leads to draft detailed product requirement documents while overseeing roadmaps and deliverables.
• Collaborate with senior management and stakeholders to drive faster decision-making and clear technical hurdles.

Requirements

• 5+ years of product management experience with significant exposure to payments infrastructure.
• Previous experience working in merchant payments and global fintech environments.
• Strong focus on execution with the ability to function within complex and high-scale settings.
• Deep hands-on experience in payment products covering acquiring, gateways, banking, card scheme integrations, merchant onboarding, settlement systems, and merchant experience.

Good to have

• Prior exposure to launching new products in a new market.
