Paytm, India's leading mobile payments and financial services distribution company, is hiring for the Product Management - UPI Product role in Noida, Uttar Pradesh. Paytm's mission is to integrate half a billion Indians into the mainstream economy using technology, pioneered by mobile QR payments. In this full-time role, you will build next-generation intelligent payment experiences for millions of users. You will own high-impact consumer journeys including UPI payments, onboarding, mandates, and engagement, while discovering ways for AI to simplify experiences and automate workflows. A normal day involves defining strategy, collaborating with Engineering, Design, AI, Risk, and Business teams, writing product requirement documents, analyzing user funnels, and running experiments to solve customer problems at scale.
Responsibilities
- Define product vision, strategy, and roadmap for consumer-facing UPI experiences
- Own critical customer journeys across UPI onboarding, payments, mandates, and engagement
- Identify opportunities to use Generative AI and AI Agents to simplify customer journeys
- Design AI-powered experiences like intelligent assistants and recommendation systems
- Write high-quality PRDs, user stories, acceptance criteria, and launch plans
- Drive rapid experimentation through A/B testing and data-driven decision making
- Collaborate with Risk, Compliance, Operations, and Business teams for secure experiences
Requirements
- 3+ years of Product Management experience building consumer-facing digital products
- Experience in Fintech, Payments, Banking, UPI, or AI-powered consumer products
- Strong product thinking with exceptional customer empathy and user experience focus
- Demonstrated experience using Generative AI to improve products or customer experience
- Ability to write clear and structured Product Requirement Documents and user stories
- Strong analytical mindset using product metrics and customer insights
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and prioritization skills
Good to have
- Experience with UPI Payments, AutoPay, and Mandates
- Knowledge of AI Agents, Agentic Workflows, and Prompt Engineering
- Familiarity with Personal Finance Products and Wallets
- Understanding of NPCI guidelines and RBI regulations
