In this role, you will work as a Cybersecurity Operations Analyst handling product support, cyber threat takedown operations, and security event analysis. A normal day involves acting as the first line of defense for customers, answering support queries, troubleshooting technical problems, identifying phishing websites and fake domains, monitoring security alerts on the CloudSEK portal, and conducting initial threat triage while collaborating with internal engineering and intelligence teams.

Responsibilities

• Act as the initial point of contact for customer technical issues via email, chat, or phone.
• Resolve basic technical problems and track support tickets using internal tools and documentation.
• Monitor, detect, and document phishing sites, fake domains, and fake social media profiles.
• Execute and manage threat takedown requests with hosting providers, registrars, and platforms.
• Monitor security alerts and incidents generated on the CloudSEK portal as an L1 Security Analyst.
• Perform initial triage, classify potential threats, and escalate incidents following protocols.
• Collaborate with engineering, security, and intelligence teams to handle escalations and map threats.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Technology, Cybersecurity, or related fields.
• 1 to 2 years of experience in early to mid cybersecurity roles.
• Understanding of phishing campaigns, social engineering tactics, and brand impersonation threats.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in rotational shifts supporting global customers.
• Prior exposure or strong interest in cybersecurity, threat intelligence, or SOC operations.

Good to have

• Experience with support ticketing tools such as Freshdesk, Zendesk, or Jira Service Desk.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity platforms and tools like VirusTotal, Whois, SIEM, or OSINT tools.
• Basic knowledge of cloud security, APIs, or red teaming.
• Proficiency with scripting languages like Python or Bash, or automation skills.
• Certifications such as CEH, Security+, or practical experience in phishing mitigation.
