Programme Manager - Enterprise AI

WPP is looking for a Programme Manager for Enterprise AI to join their team in Chennai. WPP serves as a growth partner for leading global brands, uniting media intelligence, creativity, enterprise solutions, and data expertise through their platform, WPP Open. In this role, you will sit at the centre of WPP's Enterprise AI adoption and measurement initiatives. Your main focus will be managing data, analytics, and reporting to help senior leaders track AI usage and measure business impact. A normal day involves overseeing recurring adoption reporting, tracking licence utilisation, maintaining ROI tracking against business cases, coordinating pipeline activities, managing governance artefacts like RAID logs, and preparing clear updates for various stakeholders to ensure transparency and drive transformational growth across the organisation.

Responsibilities

• Manage weekly and monthly reporting cycles for adoption, utilisation, and value metrics.
• Track licence utilisation and adoption across the Enterprise AI estate to support investment decisions.
• Maintain benefits and ROI tracking against approved business cases.
• Coordinate progress, dependencies, risks, and actions across the Enterprise AI opportunity pipeline.
• Support use-case intake and assessment processes through governance and delivery pathways.
• Configure and maintain adoption reporting tools including Viva Insights and analytics platforms.
• Maintain programme governance documents such as RAID logs, status reports, and delivery plans.
• Collaborate with programme and business teams to align activities toward measurable value.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Copilot and Microsoft 365 adoption or digital transformations.
• Working familiarity with Viva Insights, Power BI, and workforce analytics platforms.
• Background in programme management, delivery, business analysis, or benefits tracking in complex environments.
• Proven ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders with strong attention to detail.
• Comfort working with metrics and reporting to validate, explain, and challenge information.
• Strong organisational skills for maintaining reporting cycles and documentation.
• Proficiency in analysis tools such as Excel, Power BI, or similar platforms.
• Excellent communication skills for tailoring updates to senior and operational audiences.

Good to have

• Knowledge of benefits tracking, value realisation, or programme performance measurement.
• Microsoft AZ-900, DP-900, PMP, PRINCE2 or similar certifications.
• Experience working in a global organisation with distributed teams across regions.
