WPP, a trusted global growth partner for leading brands uniting media intelligence, data, and creativity, is hiring a Project Analyst (Value & Delivery) for its Enterprise AI team in Chennai. In this role, you will sit at the intersection of technology, data, and business value. WPP is accelerating AI adoption across its global business by building platforms, operating models, and agentic workflows, using tools like Microsoft Copilot. A normal day in this position involves managing and reconciling large datasets related to license, adoption, and utilization, building automated reporting systems, maintaining funding models, and prototyping solutions using Python and Power Platform. You will also evaluate emerging AI capabilities, test new products within the WPP Frontier Lab, and translate complex technical data into clear, decision-ready insights for executive stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain accurate license, adoption, and utilization datasets from Microsoft 365, HR, and tenant sources.
• Build and automate reporting processes using Power BI, Power Query, and Viva Insights.
• Maintain cost and funding models to guide investment and adoption decisions.
• Design and construct prototypes and automations using Python, Power Automate, and Copilot Studio.
• Partner with business stakeholders to identify operational challenges and test practical AI solutions.
• Evaluate new AI products and support operations within the WPP Frontier Lab.
• Convert complex technical data into clear insights for executive reporting.

Requirements

• Experience working with large, complex datasets from multiple sources to deliver accurate insights.
• Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail regarding data quality.
• Advanced Excel capability along with experience in analytics or business intelligence tools.
• Natural curiosity about AI and technology with the ability to assess practical business value.
• Experience building automations, reports, prototypes, or workflows using modern tech platforms.
• Strong problem-solving abilities focused on aligning solutions with business needs.
• Effective communication skills to engage with stakeholders at various organizational levels.

Good to have

• Experience with Microsoft Copilot, Viva Insights, or Microsoft 365 adoption and analytics.
• Exposure to Power BI, Power Platform, Dataverse, or Microsoft Graph.
• Knowledge of Python or other scripting and automation tools.
• Microsoft AZ-900, DP-900, or equivalent cloud and data certifications.
• Experience supporting digital transformation, analytics, or business change programs.
