Paytm is hiring a Relationship Manager for Field Sales in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, to drive direct health insurance sales across the Delhi NCR region. In this field-based position, you will work closely with the Paytm Merchant base, conduct open-market prospecting, and generate customer referrals to grow the business. Your daily routine involves traveling across the assigned territory, meeting merchants and individual prospects, and building strong professional relationships. You will manage the entire customer journey from the initial introduction and needs-based financial discussions to handling objections, gathering required paperwork, and securing policy issuance. Success in this role relies on consistent market visits, active customer engagement, and meeting individual sales targets while ensuring clients fully understand their health insurance purchases.

Responsibilities

• Engage Paytm Merchants in the territory to introduce and sell health insurance products.
• Prospect independently in the open market to find new individual and business clients.
• Generate customer referrals systematically from current clients and merchants.
• Conduct thorough needs assessments to recommend suitable insurance plans.
• Handle customer objections, close sales, and collect accurate documentation.
• Prevent free-look cancellations by ensuring clients buy products suited to their needs.

Requirements

• Minimum of one year of experience in Health Insurance or General Insurance
• Prior experience in Direct Sales
• Graduate degree in any discipline
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills
• Local candidate familiar with the Delhi NCR market and community
• Comfortable with field sales, lead generation, and regular market visits
• Ownership of a two-wheeler and willingness to travel daily for field work
