As an SDET 2 at AiDASH, you will take charge of ensuring the quality of the AI-powered applications that power the company's grid resilience platform. In this role, you will understand system architecture and requirements to design thorough test strategies. A normal day involves building API test automation using Java and RestAssured, validating data across databases like Postgres and MongoDB, performing benchmark and performance testing with JMeter, setting up automation pipelines, and monitoring post-release application health using AWS and Kubernetes. Responsibilities
- Design comprehensive test strategies covering functional and performance requirements
- Build robust API test automation using Java and RestAssured
- Perform data validation testing across APIs, Postgres, and MongoDB
- Conduct performance testing and benchmarking using JMeter
- Set up automation pipelines with build tools and reporting tools
- Monitor post-production application health, logs, and alerts
- Manage defects and collaborate with development teams for issue resolution
Requirements
- Hands-on experience testing backend applications with strong API testing skills
- Experience in API automation using Java and RestAssured, and/or Python scripting
- Experience in performance testing using tools like JMeter
- Hands-on experience with Postgres and MongoDB databases
- Knowledge of AWS services and Kubernetes for checking service health and logs
