Manager - People & Culture

AiDASH, Inc.
Bengaluru, Karnataka, IndiaFull-time10 to 12 years

About this job

As a Manager - People & Culture at AiDASH, Inc. in Bengaluru, you will drive people strategies that directly influence real business decisions rather than just managing standard HR processes. Your normal day involves building deep context by observing how the business operates, listening to team challenges, and partnering closely with business stakeholders. You will not be expected to fix things on day one; instead, your initial focus is on understanding the company vision, teams, and individuals. You will work on evolving performance management ecosystems, shaping compensation philosophies and reward structures, and conducting behavioral fitment interviews for hiring. Additionally, you will handle P&C compliance and policies while having the opportunity to engage with international people practices, particularly in the UK. AiDASH is a pioneering platform transforming grid resilience for electric utilities through satellite intelligence. This role requires you to view People & Culture as a business-critical craft, using data insights to spot patterns in performance, engagement, and attrition while balancing fast-paced execution with thoughtful judgment.

Responsibilities

  • Build deep context on how the business operates and what motivates people before shaping practices
  • Partner closely with business stakeholders to provide grounded, practical people advice
  • Own and evolve the performance management ecosystem for growth and stronger business performance
  • Handle compensation philosophy, salary bands, reward structures, and navigate difficult trade-offs
  • Participate in behavioral fitment interviews and make critical hiring decisions
  • Manage P&C policies and compliance with responsibility and flexibility
  • Use people data to identify patterns in attrition, engagement, performance, and growth

Requirements

  • 10-12 years of experience working closely with business stakeholders in fast-moving environments
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and incomplete information
  • Ability to think in systems while acting with pragmatism
  • Hands-on experience with performance management and compensation frameworks
  • Strong use of data to inform judgment rather than replace it
  • High sense of ownership, accountability, and collaboration with low ego
  • Willingness to work in a hybrid model with flexibility to come in regularly

Good to have

  • Exposure to UK P&C compliance and statutory requirements

Who should apply

This role suits experienced People & Culture professionals with 10-12 years of background in fast-moving environments who view HR as a strategic business partner rather than a support function. Ideal candidates are comfortable with ambiguity, take natural ownership, and possess strong judgment regarding compensation, performance management, and behavioral hiring. If you prefer open-ended responsibility, enjoy challenging leaders, and want to influence real business decisions with pragmatism and data, this position is a great fit. Freshers cannot apply as 10-12 years of experience is required.
