Program Manager, AI Data Ops
About this job
AiDASH is a company transforming grid resilience for electric utilities through a pioneering platform offering vegetation, asset, storm, and wildfire intelligence powered by satellite inspection and monitoring. The company is hiring a Program Manager for its AI Data Ops function in Bengaluru, Karnataka. In this role, you will help scale the team responsible for sourcing, processing, and annotating satellite and remote sensing imagery that powers AI and machine learning models. This is a high-visibility, build-from-scratch leadership position designed to introduce an automation-first, process-driven operating model to reduce operational complexity. A normal day involves sitting at the intersection of strategy, operations, vendor management, and data science delivery. You will zoom in to solve ground-level challenges such as vendor SLAs and escalations, while zooming out to design long-term processes, playbooks, and automation roadmaps to ensure the function evolves into a repeatable operating system.
Responsibilities
- Identify repetitive manual workflows across annotation, QA, imagery processing, and reporting, and drive automation using internal tooling, scripting, RPA, or AI-assisted workflows.
- Run structured program governance including milestones, RAID logs, and status cadences across cross-functional initiatives.
- Own a cost-efficiency roadmap for operations covering vendor spend, tooling spend, rework costs, and capacity utilization.
- Design and own scorecards, SLAs, and performance reviews for imagery, annotation, and third-party vendors.
- Serve as connective tissue across managers by owning organization-wide SOP creation and the dashboard metrics layer.
- Build dashboards and reports tracking throughput, accuracy, vendor performance, and cost efficiency to enable leadership insights.
- Manage budgets across data sourcing, annotation operations, and vendor contracts while identifying cost-optimization opportunities.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience spanning program or project management, business operations, or management consulting.
- Exposure to automation, operations, vendor management, and cost optimization.
- A track record of building metrics or automation programs from scratch.
- Comfort with data, including the ability to build and defend a dashboard or business case independently.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for external and internal conversations.
- Experience managing external vendors or partners and negotiating SLAs.
- Hands-on experience working in a startup environment.
Good to have
- Prior exposure to GIS, geospatial, imagery, or annotation-heavy operations.
- Experience standing up automation, RPA, or AI tooling programs.
Who should apply
This role suits professionals with a strong background in business operations, program management, or management consulting who thrive in fast-paced startup environments. If you have a proven track record of building metrics, automation programs, and vendor management frameworks from scratch, this position offers an exciting platform for high-impact leadership. Candidates comfortable handling data, reducing operational complexity, and translating ambiguous problems into structured plans will find a great fit here.
