Senior Analyst - RTR

WPP, a trusted growth partner for leading global brands, is hiring a Senior Analyst - RTR for their Mumbai office located in Vikhroli. In this role, you will be part of a team dedicated to delivering media intelligence, data solutions, and enterprise services. Your daily routine will involve handling general ledger accounting, preparing month-end closing activities without discrepancies, creating journal entries, and managing reconciliations. You will also coordinate with auditors for interim audits, prepare monthly and quarterly profit and loss and balance sheet reports, perform variance analysis, and answer general ledger queries via emails and calls from various internal departments and agencies. The position requires working early morning shifts between 3:30 am and 6:30 am, five days a week, with home pick-up and drop cab facilities provided.

Responsibilities

• Manage general ledger accounting and month-end closing tasks without discrepancies.
• Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and support financial reporting.
• Coordinate with auditors for interim audits and share requested details or schedules.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly P&L, balance sheets, and other management reports.
• Perform monthly analysis of P&L and balance sheet items to highlight variances.
• Handle general ledger queries through emails and calls from internal teams and agencies.
• Ensure adherence to SOX compliance, internal controls, and audit requirements.

Requirements

• Qualified CA with 6 months to 2 years of experience, or semi-qualified CA with 3 to 5 years of experience in GL, RTR, or financial reporting.
• Strong understanding of general ledger accounting and the RTR process.
• Preference for candidates based in Mumbai.
• Availability to work early morning shifts between 3:30 am and 6:30 am.
• Willingness to work 5 days a week in a hybrid setup.

Good to have

• Experience in handling cross-functional team queries.
• Familiarity with interim audit coordination.
