Ensono is looking for a Senior Change and Release Manager to join their Mainframe as a Service team in Hyderabad, India. In this role, you will be part of an agile operating model where crews are aligned to larger products and services. A normal day in this position involves globally running the zOS, AIX, and AS400 operating system platform release and test management, acting as a central point to plan software change requests, and coordinating deployments. You will also execute test planning with engineering teams, maintain packaging environments, ensure compliance with internal SDLC processes, build observability into solutions, and help resolve production incidents to drive continuous improvement and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Globally run the zOS, AIX and AS400 operating system platform release and test management.
- Act as central point to plan platform software change requests, creating related roadmaps and timelines.
- Provide and maintain packaging environment and software inventory for other teams.
- Execute test planning and coordination with engineering teams including test plans, orders, and reports.
- Work within change management methodology and procedures to deliver stable products to operations.
- Coordinate deployment of fixes and Single Distributions for platform products.
- Ensure compliance and audibility for software components according to internal SDLC/QAP/MER/ICC processes.
- Monitor production health, help resolve incidents, and remediate root causes of risks and issues.
Requirements
- IT basic knowledge with a minimum of 10 years of experience in IT services.

- Ability to work under pressure with carefulness and precision.
