Conviva, the experience analytics platform for AI agents, apps, and streaming, is hiring a Senior Engineer for Android in Bengaluru. The company pioneered quality of experience measurement, supporting major live events like the Super Bowl and Olympic Games, and connects consumer experiences to revenue, retention, and risk. In this role, you will build the SDKs and libraries that power Conviva's data collection across Android mobile, Android TV, and Fire TV devices. Your typical day involves taking problems from idea to production, building easy-to-integrate APIs, collecting analytics data for video, apps, and AI agents, and working closely with customers and the Integration team. It is a hands-on engineering position requiring a high degree of ownership, where you will translate functional requirements into reliable, massive-scale product solutions while collaborating with project managers and product owners.

Responsibilities

• Build Conviva SDKs and libraries on Android, Android TV, and Fire TV with easy-to-integrate APIs.
• Collect agent analytics data by capturing interactions with AI agents inside Android apps.
• Collect video analytics data by instrumenting streaming players for quality, performance, and engagement.
• Collect app analytics data to help customers understand user behavior, performance, and outcomes.
• Build advertisement monitoring solutions supporting ads streaming on mobile and smart TV.
• Take end-to-end ownership to translate functional requirements into product solutions.
• Collaborate closely with customers and the Integration team during deployment and ongoing support.
• Work with Project Managers, Product Owners, and development teams to deliver continuously.

Requirements

• BS or MS in Computer Science or a related field.
• 4 to 6 years of experience building Android applications, SDKs, and APIs.
• Solid understanding of Java and Kotlin programming concepts.
• Strong computer science fundamentals including system design, data structures, and algorithms.
• Experience working in small teams and delivering quickly and continuously.
• Ability to learn new product domains quickly and work independently.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve issues and bring them to closure.
• Clear communication skills for working directly with customers and integration teams.

Good to have

• Hands-on experience with AI agents, mobile applications, or online video platforms.
• Experience with streaming video analytics or digital analytics.
• Experience with app analytics or instrumenting AI-powered products and agents.
