Solvd, a rapidly growing AI-native consulting and technology services firm, is seeking a Snowflake Data Architect for Pune, India. In this role, you will design and own the end-to-end architecture of a workforce intelligence platform being rebuilt as a native application on the Snowflake Marketplace. Solvd delivers enterprise transformation across cloud, data, software engineering, and artificial intelligence, working alongside industry-leading organizations to build and operationalize technology solutions. A normal day in this fast-paced engagement involves collaborating with a cross-functional team of data engineering, backend, DevOps, and QA professionals. You will guide architectural decisions, design application structures, plan cloud-agnostic strategies, and lead the Snowflake Security Review process from start to finish to achieve a published, Snowflake-approved Marketplace application.

Responsibilities

• Design the Application Package structure adhering to Snowflake Native App Framework specifications.
• Architect a cloud-agnostic strategy with an Azure-first approach and modular extensibility for AWS and GCP.
• Design end-to-end data flow from desktop collectors to customer Snowflake environments while documenting encryption and access controls.
• Evaluate and recommend migration tooling for the Talend to dbt and Snowflake transition.
• Lead preparation for the Snowflake Security Review, covering package structure, data access patterns, and network egress documentation.
• Own provider account setup, versioning, and release architecture.
• Produce architecture diagrams and compliance documentation packages required for the Marketplace listing.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in cloud or data architecture.
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake, including the Native App Framework or Snowpark.
• Proven track record delivering architecture documentation for platform reviews or compliance processes.
• Experience publishing or contributing to a Snowflake Marketplace application.
• Strong written communication skills for producing documentation intended for external reviewers.

Good to have

• Familiarity with dbt, Streamlit, or Snowflake Cortex.
• Experience with Talend or similar ETL migration projects.
