Responsibilities
- Build and operate high-scale distributed systems.
- Provide service and product-wide architectural guidance and drive technical decisions.
- Establish and enforce best practices for coding, testing, observability, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Drive cross-team collaboration to accelerate feature velocity.
- Lead initiatives in performance optimization and reliability improvements.
- Handle on-call duties, manage cloud incidents, and write root cause analyses.
Requirements
- 5+ years of Java coding experience in highly distributed, enterprise-scale environments.
- Experience with Kafka, Druid, and ElasticSearch.
- Experience managing on-call duties, cloud incidents, and writing RCAs.
- Working knowledge of cloud infrastructure services on AWS or Azure.
- Foundational understanding of AI/ML technologies and agentic AI systems.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
Good to have
- Experience with AI coding assistants and LLM-assisted development workflows.
- Experience building data tiers for large web services using Postgres and Redis.
- Knowledge of identity and access management systems like Okta, SAML, and OAuth.
