Additionally, you will participate in Agile ceremonies, manage project tracking through Jira and Confluence, and verify technical accuracy by collaborating directly with subject matter experts and product stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Write and maintain user guides, developer content, release notes, and implementation documentation for Tidal and Finance Automation.
  • Produce API documentation using tools like Swagger and Open API for developer endpoints.
  • Translate technical concepts like job scheduling and financial processes into clear content for administrators and business users.
  • Partner with UX and design teams to create in-product text, tooltips, error messages, and onboarding copy.
  • Use approved AI tools to assist with drafting, editing, and structuring documentation while reviewing all output for accuracy.
  • Publish and maintain documentation using a Git-based, docs-as-code workflow with Markdown and version control.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprints, and team workflows using Jira and Confluence.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Technical Communication, English, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3 to 5 years of technical writing experience for software products, ideally within B2B SaaS.
  • Experience producing user guides, API documentation, and release notes in a fast-release Agile or sprint-based environment.
  • Experience using Jira and Confluence for project tracking and team collaboration.
  • Experience with Git-based, docs-as-code workflows and lightweight markup languages like Markdown.
  • Experience applying AI tools to documentation work from prior jobs or self-directed exploration.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with high attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Good to have

  • Familiarity with API documentation tools such as Swagger and Open API.
  • Experience partnering with UX and design teams on in-product content or microcopy.
  • Experience with workload automation, enterprise software, or cloud-based platforms.

Who should apply

This role suits professionals with several years of technical writing background in B2B SaaS environments who enjoy collaborating across engineering, product, and design teams. Candidates who are comfortable with Git-based docs-as-code workflows, eager to pilot AI tools in documentation processes, and skilled at translating complex technical concepts into user-friendly content will find a great fit here.
