The Knot Worldwide is seeking a Video & Graphics Editor for The Bump to develop engaging multimedia content tailored for pregnant individuals and parents. The company champions global celebration planning through an industry-leading vendor marketplace and personalized planning tools. In this role, you will be part of the editorial team, reporting to the Editorial & Trust Lead. Your normal day involves producing and packaging video content for various channels, designing multiplatform infographics to translate health and lifestyle topics into visuals, editing images, and utilizing AI-powered design tools to build efficient workflows. You will also manage content inside the CMS, coordinate with on-screen talent, and collaborate closely with staff editors, Product, Growth, and Commerce teams. By monitoring audience performance and feedback, you will help optimize content and maintain visual identity guidelines to ensure quality and original storytelling for the audience.
Responsibilities
- Produce, edit, and package informational and commerce videos for web, app, and social channels.
- Coach and coordinate with contributing talent to manage deadlines and ensure great on-screen video content.
- Design multiplatform infographics that clearly translate health topics, lifestyle inspiration, and community polls into visuals.
- Source and edit on-brand stock, product, and user-generated images for editorial and marketing purposes.
- Leverage AI-powered design tools to maintain visual consistency and efficiency in workflows.
- Manage content in the CMS while keeping clean taxonomy and optimized metadata.
- Monitor performance metrics and user feedback to recommend updates, new coverage, and format changes.
Requirements
- 3+ years of professional video editing and graphic design experience in digital media, consumer health, parenting, or lifestyle fields.
- Proven expertise in photo editing and visual storytelling.
- Proficiency with design and video tools such as Figma, Canva, Photoshop, Illustrator, Adobe Express, Adobe Premiere, Google Vids, and Gemini.
- Familiarity with editorial planning, production calendars, and responsible AI-assisted workflows.
- Demonstrated ability to coach, direct, and coordinate with contributing on-screen talent.
- Comfort collaborating with experts and incorporating medical, legal, editorial, and audience feedback.
- Sound judgment when handling sensitive health, family, identity, or life-stage topics.
